Locker Room Buzz: Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE -- Observed in the locker room after the Seattle Seahawks' 41-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings:

Harvin talk: It was all about receiver Percy Harvin's debut, with many players saying how he changed the game with his 58-yard kickoff return and spectacular 17-yard catch.

Harvin on begging coach Pete Carroll to let him return a kickoff: "I kept drilling him and drilling him. He wasn’t trying to hear me. But finally he, said, 'Get your tail out there.' And I was able to make a big play."

Quarterback Russell Wilson on Harvin: "It just shows how explosive he is. That kickoff return was something else. The thing about him is he draws attention. He’s so fast. He can do it all. He just elevates our offense."

Safety Earl Thomas on Harvin: "Man, that kickoff it looked like everybody else was in slow motion except him. He showed why he’s a superstar in this league."
