Cards to meet with DT Isaac Sopoaga

The Arizona Cardinals aren't wasting any time trying to build the depth they lost Monday when Darnell Dockett went down with a torn right ACL.

They plan to work out defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga, according to a source. He was en route to Arizona as of Tuesday afternoon.

After spending the first eight years of his career with San Francisco, Sopoaga played for Philadelphia and New England in 2013. He started two of six games at defensive tackle for the Eagles, notching one sack and a tackle. In eight games with the Patriots, Sopoaga played nose tackle, starting seven of eight games and recording seven tackles.

He's started 89 of 139 career games and has 229 tackles along with 8.5 sacks.

Reports earlier Tuesday linked the Cardinals with Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel, but subsequent reports said Keisel declined an invitation to meet with Arizona.
