An ankle injury is keeping Boldin out of practice. He played with an ankle injury earlier in the season before the team rested him against Chicago as a precaution.
The Cardinals need Boldin to set up the most favorable matchups against the Packers' injury-affected secondary (Al Harris on injured reserve). If Boldin does not play, the Cardinals have some choices. Do they use two tight ends more frequently? Might they find snaps for former fourth receiver Jerheme Urban, who has disappeared from the offense since Early Doucet started getting playing time?
Urban provides some flexibility because he has played more than one receiving position in the offense.
