No issue figures to affect the 2010 NFC West race more than Kurt Warner's decision on retirement.
ESPN The Magazine's Rick Reilly spoke with Warner, who does nothing to dispel retirement talk in a piece published Wednesday morning.
Reilly: Brenda -- the most quotable wife in the NFL -- has said the decision is between "Kurt and God." What does that mean, exactly?
Warner: It means I pray that God takes away the desire in me to play this game. I've loved it for so long. I need him to take that away from me, so that I can be comfortable with this decision.
I'll have more on the subject as the day progresses after speaking with Hall of Famer Warren Moon, another quarterback who remained productive into his late 30s. Moon offered insights and opinions on where Warner might head with this decision.
