Revisiting the top of the draft

All signs pointed to the Rams drafting a defensive tackle when scouts Rob Rang and Steve Muench discussed the matter here in mid-February.

Five weeks later, all signs point to the Rams selecting quarterback Sam Bradford, even if there's always a chance the team could go in another direction, as Bernie Miklasz laid out.

How can perceptions change so dramatically? Rang, Muench and I will revisit the subject on the blog Wednesday. I'd also like to include your thoughts. Is something not adding up here? Or was quarterback the logical direction all along, as John Clayton and Adam Schefter suggested heading into the combine? Who should the Rams take, and why?
