The Seahawks are allowing 7.2 additional points per game this season, the worst change in the league from 2007.
The Chiefs (plus-6.7), Packers (plus-6.0) and Patriots (plus-4.5) are the only teams allowing 4.0 or more additional points per game.
The chart shows statsitical changes to averages for NFC West teams.
Example: The 49ers are allowing 17.3 fewer yards per game. They are allowing .12 fewer yards per play. Their opponents are converting a lower percentage of third-down chances (by 1.95 percentage points) and red zone chances (1.34 percentage points). The 49ers' opponents are scoring an additional 1.6 points per game this season.
Seven NFL teams are allowing at least 30 more yards per game this season over last season: Packers 31.2, Patriots 31.8, Rams 34.6, Broncos 37.4, Seahawks 58.6 and Chiefs 77.7.
