The way NFL teams scout college football will change along with the shifting affiliations affecting some of the major conferences.
Scouts will be able to see different combinations of players in conference games.
The Seattle Seahawks have raided the Pac-10 in disproportionate numbers, but the gap would close if expected changes in affiliation go through. I've done the calculations to how NFC West rosters would shake out based on current and projected affiliations.
Division teams currently have 51 players from the Pac-10, 29 from the Big 12 and 45 from the Big Ten. Those numbers would shift to 70 for the Pac-10 and 47 from the Big Ten, with only eight players remaining from leftover Big 12 teams.

The second chart shows player counts by college conference if Nebraska joined the Big Ten and six programs -- Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado -- jumped from the Big 12 to the Pac-10.
