Sam Bradford feasted against five-man rush

Those interested in sizing up the St. Louis Rams' Sam Bradford from another angle should check out Mike Reiss' item breaking down the New England Patriots' defense Thursday night.

I've taken Reiss' info and placed it into a chart showing Bradford's stats against four, five or six pass-rushers. Reiss points to good pass protection from tight end Billy Bajema against Derrick Burgess on Bradford's 32-yard pass to Donnie Avery. I also noticed solid protection from rookie tight end Mike Hoomanawanui, who also caught two touchdown passes.

Check out Bradford's stats against the Patriots' five-man rushes. Looks like a nice combination (from the Rams' perspective) of protection and Bradford getting rid of the ball quickly.

All in all, a good night for Bradford and the Rams' offense.
