Wet conditions await Chargers, Seahawks

The Northwest weather was spectacular Saturday.

That was then. This is now.

The second link features an image pulled Sunday morning from a webcam atop the Space Needle. The Sunday forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of precipitation when the San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks kick off at Qwest Field.

It's going to be a wet one.

Temperatures should remain mild -- the expected high is 68 -- and only light winds are expected.

Wet footballs can facilitate turnovers, however.

I'll be heading over to Qwest Field in time to watch the early games on TV. Milder conditions await the San Francisco 49ers in Kansas City. The St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals will play indoors.
