Following up: Rams' Randy Moss decision

The St. Louis Rams were 4-4 when they decided against claiming off waivers veteran receiver Randy Moss.

They've gone 2-3 in their five subsequent games. They could still use help at wide receiver, but it's tougher to make the case Moss would have helped them significantly, if at all. Moss has been a non-factor since Tennessee claimed him.

The New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans are 4-9 with Moss and 17-9 without him this season. Moss wasn't necessary the key variable in the disparity. New England was 3-1 with him and 8-1 without him. The Vikings and Titans have had quarterback issues and even organizational issues.

The bottom line: Moss hasn't been particularly productive for any team this season, a surprise.
