AFC West blogger Bill Williamson and I never would have guessed before the season that we would be getting together in December for a Kansas City Chiefs-St. Louis Rams game with playoff implications for both teams.
Here we are, in St. Louis, gearing up for a game between division leaders.
The NFC West standings from last season are upside down, with St. Louis at the top, followed by Seattle, 2009 runner-up San Francisco and two-time defending champion Arizona.
Kansas City, the last-place team in the AFC West last season, leads its division.
Bill and I will be heading over to the Edward Jones Dome several hours before kickoff Sunday.
