Rams QB Bulger to get finger checked out

The finger injury Marc Bulger suffered in practice Monday wasn't serious enough to prevent him from throwing on the side later in the session.

That was the word from Bill Coats of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, who also said Bulger will undergo a precautionary X-ray.

The Rams are already running out of healthy players to catch the ball. Bulger has taken significant punishment in recent seasons, but he didn't miss a game to injury in 2008. He also made it through the 2006 season without missing a start to injury, despite taking 49 sacks.
