Rams lose Vobora to suspension

By sheer coincidence, I was updating the "NFC West roided-out rosters" made available here periodically when the NFL announced David Vobora's suspension from the Rams for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The Rams put out a statement from coach Steve Spagnuolo:

"Dave’s situation is unfortunate. He has been a vital part of our team, and we are disappointed that we will be without him for the next four games. However, we respect the League’s decision in this matter."

Vobora, the final player drafted to the NFL in 2008, had moved into the starting lineup this season. His absence hurts the Rams' already tenuous depth at the position. Chris Chamberlain, Larry Grant and Paris Lenon are the backups. Dominic Douglas is on the practice squad.
