Patrick Peterson ranked 160th on the recently published Scouts Inc. Top 200 list of top NFL players.
I'll be surprised if Peterson doesn't rank higher -- much, much higher -- one year from now. As much as any unproven young player in the NFC West, Peterson appears primed to achieve greatness. His talent was obvious while returning four punts for touchdowns last season. But in terms of learning the cornerback position, Peterson had considerable room for growth coming out of a lockout-shortened rookie offseason.
