Rams on collision course with Megatron

The St. Louis Rams head to Detroit hoping to at least contain Lions receiver Calvin Johnson.

Their secondary has a new feel with Cortland Finnegan and rookie Janoris Jenkins on the corners. Bradley Fletcher or rookie Trumaine Johnson could be the first corner off the bench.

Johnson finished last season with 96 catches for 1,681 yards and 16 touchdowns. He caught 47 of those passes and scored 11 of those touchdowns lined up wide to the right, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Finnegan lines up on that side in the base defense; it'll be interesting to see how the Rams match up with Johnson when Detroit uses more than two wideouts.

Johnson hasn't been particularly prolific in season openers, as the first chart indicates.
