Quarterback Kevin Kolb wasn't going to miss his daughter's birth over a football game.
We discussed the subject a week ago when Kolb told ESPN's Ashley Fox he was hoping the delivery would cooperate with his work schedule, specifically the Arizona Cardinals' game against Philadelphia last week.
The game came and went without incident.
Now, with 3-0 Arizona preparing to play at home Sunday and then at St. Louis four days later, Kolb is in the clear from a scheduling standpoint. His wife, Whitney, delivered their third daughter, Saylor, on Thursday night.
Cardinals vice president Mark Dalton tweeted the news.
Congrats to the Kolb family.
