I've been remiss the last couple weeks in failing to post predictions from Matt Williamson, Ross Tucker and Jay Soderberg on the Football Today podcast.
Let's take a look at how the guys see things in Week 6:
11:30 mark: New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers. Williamson winds up picking the 49ers, but he was tempted to pick the Giants based on how well Eli Manning is playing this season. Williamson does think the 49ers have the best offensive line in the NFL right now.
21:10: St. Louis Rams at Miami Dolphins. Venue and offensive line strengths come into play in the evaluation, as does Danny Amendola's injury. The Rams will need another strong showing from their defense.
33:15: Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals. Tucker played for the Bills and thinks they will play better this week, but mostly because they couldn't play much worse than they have recently. The Cardinals' defense could be the deciding factor.
35:31: New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks. Williamson questions whether New England can run its no-huddle offense as effectively in such a hostile environment. What's tougher, picking against Seattle at home or picking against New England's offense anywhere right now? Williamson expects a close game. Tucker sees a blowout.
Matt, Ross and Jay go through all the NFL games. The time stamps are there to help you single out NFC West games quickly if you're in a crunch for time.
