SAN FRANCISCO -- The 49ers have done enough right in the first half against New England to feel reasonably good about their chances in the second half.
Quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan is moving well within the pocket and making just enough plays to overcome a low completion percentage. But the Patriots have the momentum and the lead, 17-14, after Kevin Faulk's 2-yard scoring run with 9 seconds left in the half.
The Patriots had failed to score in the final 2 minutes of a half during their first three games (thanks, CBS).
