Three more division games await in Week 11.
The St. Louis Rams are 2-0-1 in the division and 1-5 outside of it. They can make it 2-5 by beating the New York Jets in the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday.
That's what I'm expecting to happen. Predicting NFC West outcomes seems to be getting easier as the season progresses. I've now got a 22-9 record picking outcomes for games involving teams from the division. That includes 9-1 over the past 10 games (I'm taking a loss after predicting a 49ers victory against the Rams in the game they tied last week).
Here's a look at best guesses for Week 11:
Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET This looks like a blowout at first glance, but the Falcons scored only 19 and 23 points in their past two home games. Arizona could keep it close. But after allowing seven total TD passes to Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers in their past two games, the Cardinals appear vulnerable to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Sando's best guess: Falcons 23, Cardinals 13.
New York Jets at St. Louis Rams, 1 p.m.: The Rams are four-point favorites. The Jets appear to be a mess. The Rame are due to start forcing turnovers again, and this could be the week. Sando's best guess: Rams 20, Jets 17.
Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers, Monday, 8:30 p.m.: Jay Cutler will not play for the Bears. Alex Smith probably will play for the 49ers. San Francisco hasn't been as good lately. This game will give us a better idea what it means. I'm not quite sure what to expect. Sando's best guess: 49ers 17, Bears 9.
