FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez, who injured a toe on his left foot during last Sunday's 33-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, was not on the field for the open portion of Wednesday's practice.
Gonzalez was noticeably hobbled after the game and said he would take a wait-and-see approach with the injury. He hasn't missed a game since the 2006 season with the Kansas City Chiefs, when he was inactive for one contest due to a shoulder injury.
Running back Jason Snelling was the other notable player not practicing Wednesday. Snelling was inactive for the Arizona game with an ankle injury and was slowed by the same injury the past two weeks.
