Moore one of four to miss practice

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Receiver Denarius Moore, who suffered a shoulder injury in the Oakland Raiders' 28-23 victory Sunday at the Houston Texans, was one of four players to miss practice Wednesday.

"He's really sore," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said of Moore, who leads the Raiders with 37 receptions 569 yards and five touchdowns. "He'll be one of those guys who will be day-to-day. This is something he's going to have to deal with as we finish out the season. Whenever he can tolerate the pain and can push through it, he'll be back. It's not a surgery thing."

Running back Darren McFadden, who aggravated his strained right hamstring Nov. 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles and has been sidelined since, did not practice either but is getting closer to returning.

"It looked like he had a pretty good workout on the side," Allen said. "We'll get a chance to visit with him and see more later on about where he's at this week in terms of his availability for Sunday."

Following, then, is the Raiders' injury report for Wednesday:

Did not participate: SS Tyvon Branch (ankle), DE Jason Hunter (foot), RB Darren McFadden (right hamstring), Denarius Moore (shoulder)

Limited practice: RG Mike Brisiel (ankle/knee), WR Juron Criner (right shoulder), WR Andre Holmes (shoulder), LB Kaluka Maiava (ribs), RT Matt McCants (toe), DT Daniel Muir (knee), QB Terrelle Pryor (knee)
