Jets practice report: A healthy team

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- If good health equated to wins, the New York Jets would have a playoff berth locked up.

The Jets were at full strength Thursday as they continued preparations for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Tight end Kellen Winslow, who usually rests on Wednesday, was back on the field. Safety Ed Reed wasn't seen at practice, but Thursday is a usual rest day.

They've endured injuries throughout the season, naturally, but the Jets haven't been crippled like some other teams. In fact, only two starters are on injured reserve -- quarterback Mark Sanchez and wide receiver Stephen Hill.

That they have full participation this late in the season, without a playoff chance, is a credit to coach Rex Ryan. Players on non-contending teams sometimes mail it in, sitting out practice with minor bumps and bruises. That isn't happening under Ryan.
