According to at least one oddsmaker, the former MVP quarterback is good for seven points.
The gambling website Bovada.lv listed the Packers as a four-point underdog to the Chicago Bears at the start of this week, when it was unknown whether Rodgers would return from his broken collarbone. By Thursday, when it was announced Rodgers would start Sunday's game at Soldier Field, the Packers became a three-point favorite.
“Basically, Rodgers is worth a whole touchdown when it comes to the point spread of this game and changed the Packers from underdogs to favorites as soon as he was confirmed the starter,” said Kevin Bradley, the Bovada’s sports book manager.
