The Oakland Raiders attacked the offensive side of the ball on the first and second days of free agency, re-signing running back Darren McFadden, agreeing to terms with lineman Rodger Saffold (the deal fell apart when the Raiders had issues with the health of his shoulder) and right tackle Austin Howard. Thursday, the Raiders signed defensive end Justin Tuck and linebacker LaMarr Woodley.
Friday, the Raiders are scheduled to play host to former Tampa Bay left tackle Donald Penn, who has never missed a game in his seven-year career and was cut Thursday by the Buccaneers, as well as former Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith, who has racked up 27 of his career 41 1/2 sacks the past five years.
