No. 27: Broncos 35, Chargers 24 | Oct. 15, 2012

Antonio Gates scored a touchdown with 24 seconds left in the second quarter to give the San Diego Chargers a seemingly insurmountable 24-0 halftime lead over the Denver Broncos.

In the second half, Peyton Manning and the Broncos stormed back and scored touchdowns on their first three possessions.

In the third and fourth quarters, Manning completed all but one of his 14 pass attempts and posted a 96.8 total QBR.

But Manning couldn't have completed the comeback without help from Denver's defense. The Broncos shut down the Chargers' offense in the second half, forcing five Philip Rivers turnovers and returning two of them for touchdowns.

"When you lose it's rough, especially in a game where you had a big lead and so much at stake," Rivers said.

The Broncos' 24-point halftime comeback is tied for the largest in "Monday Night Football" history.
