Around the NFC West: Cardinals fall hard

Scott Bordow of the East Valley Tribune says the Cardinals lost more than a game against the Jets. They lost credibility.

Mike Tulumello of the East Valley Tribune says none of the Cardinals' players would call the hit on Anquan Boldin dirty. Coach Ken Whisenhunt sounded less sure.

Also from Tulumello: Defensive tackle Darnell Dockett says the Cardinals must stick together and avoid pointing fingers following their second consecutive defeat.

More from Tulumello: So much for that plan to stay on the East Coast for a week.

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic says the Cardinals' offense continues to struggle in the red zone. Also, the Cardinals' improved depth on defense isn't holding up very well.

Also from Somers: Boldin should be OK. Team owner Bill Bidwill and president Michael Bidwell stayed behind with Boldin. They planned to fly the receiver back to Arizona on their private plane.

More from Somers: Brett Favre looked pretty good despite those unfamiliar throwback uniforms.

And this from Somers: Whisenhunt says he never considered benching Warner. I thought Warner got some of his best protection from his head coach.

Also from Somers: The Cardinals emerge from their 10-day road trip with some Marriott points and a few memories, but not much else.
