JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The knee contusion that Jacksonville Jaguars starting cornerback Demetrius McCray suffered against the New York Giants last Saturday might shouldn't cause him to miss any regular-season games.
Coach Gus Bradley said McCray could be back on the practice field as soon as next week.
"I think we're all targeting for the first game," Bradley said.
McCray hurt his right knee when he banged it into the turf at MetLife Stadium. He was using a crutch to get around the locker room on Tuesday.
McCray, one of the Jaguars' two seventh-round draft picks in 2013, started 12 games last season and made 49 tackles and broke up three passes.
