Forty points in the first half were more than enough to propel the Jets to a ridiculously easy 47-3 victory at the Meadowlands.
The Jets are on a three-game win streak and have won five of their past six. They won't have much time to celebrate, though. They will visit the New England Patriots on Thursday night in a game that will determine first place in the AFC East.
St. Louis owns one of the NFL's weakest defenses and stop neither the run or the pass with even a modicum of success. The Jets could have their way with the Rams however they chose, and they decided to run their way to victory.
By halftime, running back Thomas Jones scored a pair of touchdowns and broke the 100-yard barrier. He finished with 149 yards and three TDs.
Brett Favre completed 14 of 19 passes for 167 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
