Cleveland Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme will take the bulk of the reps in practice Wednesday, according to head coach Eric Mangini. This is a sign that Delhomme, who is returning from an ankle injury, has the inside track to start Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons (3-1).
Mangini said he would make a decision based on how Delhomme looks in practice today and Thursday. Delhomme missed the previous three games with a high-ankle sprain.
Cleveland (1-3) will try to win its second straight game at home. The Browns beat the Cincinnati Bengals (2-2) for their first win of the season last weekend.
