The Steelers have officially arrived

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially touched down in the Lone Star State. And they are not heading home until the conclusion of Super Bowl XLV on Feb. 6 against the Green Bay Packers.

Pittsburgh's team plane arrived at the Dallas/Fort Worth airport at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET Monday. The Steelers then loaded several buses, along with a police motorcade, on their way to their headquarters in Fort Worth.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin and several players, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, receiver Hines Ward and offensive tackle Flozell Adams, will meet with the media this afternoon. The AFC North blog will have some early reaction from the Steelers to kick off Super Bowl week.
