Atlanta Falcons make roster moves

The Atlanta Falcons announced a couple of minor transactions Thursday night.

They signed defensive tackle Trey Lewis to a contract extension and signed tight end Robbie Agnone. Lewis came to the Falcons in the 2007 draft and appeared in only one game last season. But the Falcons like Lewis’ ability to play the run and view him as a nice backup to Jonathan Babineaux, Corey Peters and Peria Jerry.

Agnone spent part of the 2010 season on Atlanta’s practice squad. He previously has been with the Washington Redskins and the New England Patriots.
