Players' families making presence felt

TAMPA, Fla. -- Players' families have been making their way into the stadium in waves, easily identified by their matching jersey numbers.

Fifteen people wearing Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie jerseys walked past near Gate A while I was speaking with family and friends of Cardinals guard Elton Brown.

Brown's contingent high-fived Cardinals fans walking past them. Brown's brother, Scorpio, told fans the postgame party would be held on the field.

Also represented from the Brown family: aunt Monica Plummer, aunt Joyce Brown, cousin Dantae Bugg, pastor John Solomon and friend Erica Davis, who called herself "AODA" because she handles "all other duties assigned."

Brown's mother, Robin, pulled an end-around and was already at Gate D, where they planned to enter the stadium. Our first trick play of Super Bowl XLIII.
