Podcast: Rams' draft vision crystal clear

St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead recently shared draft-related insights with ESPN's Colin Cowherd.

It's clear the Rams head into the 2012 NFL draft with a clear vision: arming quarterback Sam Bradford.

"There is probably not a position in this draft other than quarterback that we couldn't draft one of those players (early)," Snead told Cowherd, "but when you have a franchise quarterback, you definitely would love to get explosive weapons for that player."

Snead came back to that vision when explaining reasons for sticking with Bradford over trading him and selecting Robert Griffin III second overall. He framed the decision as getting weapons for Bradford or getting a new quarterback without getting as many weapons for him.
