The Cardinals, 2-0 after upsetting New England on the road in Week 2, are looking very good on defense. They've held nine of their past 11 opponents to 20 points or fewer, including teams led by Tony Romo (13 points) and Tom Brady (18).

As for the Cardinals, I've revived a chart we ran in August, when skepticism over Arizona led me to address whether the team was being underrated.
The Cardinals finished 8-8 last season despite a 1-6 start. They are now the first team in three decades to go from 1-6 to 8-8 and then start the next season with two victories. The 1981 and 1982 Washington Redskins did it most recently.
