Wrap-up: Cardinals 24, Dolphins 21 (OT)

Here are some thoughts on the Arizona Cardinals' 24-21 overtime victory over the Miami Dolphins.

What it means: The Dolphins suffered another heart-breaking loss for the second consecutive week. Miami lost in overtime in back-to-back games and fell to 1-3 on the season. The Dolphins were legitimately a few plays away from 3-1. Miami plays hard but can't seem to make the plays in crucial moments when it matters.

What I liked: We saw the maturation of Miami rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. He threw for 431 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. It was a big day for Miami's receivers. Brian Hartline had a career-high 253 yards and an 80-yard touchdown reception. Expect a lot of fantasy players to pick him up next week if he's available. Miami’s defense also played well. Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake registered 4.5 sacks.

What I didn't like: The Dolphins made mistakes at crucial times, which seems to be the mark of this team. The Dolphins gave up a 15-yard touchdown pass to Andre Roberts at the end of regulation to force overtime, and Tannehill was hit on a big interception that set up the Cardinals' game-winning field goal in overtime. Miami is not a clutch team. This is a young team learning how to win and the Dolphins are suffering through some tough growing pains.

What’s next: The Dolphins have another road game next week against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals improved to 3-1 after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
