Updating NFC West quarterback injuries

SAN FRANCISCO -- Quarterbacks Alex Smith (finger), Sam Bradford (knee) and John Skelton (ankle) showed up as probable on injury reports heading into Week 6.

Having three NFC West quarterbacks on injury reports sounds troubling on the surface, but these injuries aren't expected to weigh heavily.

Smith and Bradford are scheduled to start. Skelton will be available as the Cardinals' backup, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Skelton hasn't played since suffering his injury against Seattle in Week 1. Kevin Kolb will start against Buffalo.

Seattle's Russell Wilson is the only Week 1 NFC West starter yet to appear on an injury report this season.
