NFL Power Rankings: Browns move up

Congratulations are in order for the Cleveland Browns, who jumped up three spots in the power rankings. That tied the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins for the biggest move up for this week. Here's a recap of the Week 14 power rankings:

ESPN Power Ranking: No. 6

My ranking: No. 6

2012 record: 9-3

Comment: The Ravens dropped a couple of spots after losing to Charlie Batch and the Steelers. Some might want to drop them more for losing to a third-string quarterback at home. But it's hard to put them below four-loss teams like Chicago, Green Bay and Indianapolis.

ESPN Power Ranking: No. 11

My ranking: No. 12

2012 record: 7-5

Comment: This is the first time since Week 10 that the Bengals didn't move up. Still, it's hard to complain about where Cincinnati is ranked. Of the four 7-5 teams, only the Giants are above the Bengals. The Steelers are Seahawks are below them.

ESPN Power Ranking: No. 13

My ranking: No. 11

2012 record: 7-5

Comment: I remain the only voter on the power rankings that has the Steelers above the Bengals. Pittsburgh inched up one spot after beating the previously No. 4 Ravens. It's good to see the Steelers are still above the popular Redskins, who were dominated in Pittsburgh earlier this year.

ESPN Power Ranking: No. 24

My ranking: No. 23

2012 record: 4-8

Comment: The Browns have jumped a total of six spots in winning back-to-back games. Cleveland had never been higher than No. 27 all season. The Browns had spent 11 of the first 12 weeks of the season in the bottom three. There are five four-win teams, and the only one ranked higher than the Browns is the Lions.
