Ravens' defense without Suggs and Lewis

The Ravens' defense will play its first game in nine seasons without both Ray Lewis or Terrell Suggs.

Since Suggs was drafted in 2003, the Ravens have had either him or Lewis in the starting lineup. Both former NFL defensive players of the year could return for next Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Suggs is sidelined for the seventh time this season. He is out with a torn biceps today after missing the first six games with an Achilles injury.

Lewis is missing his sixth straight game with a torn triceps. He returned to practice this week and is eligible to return from the injured reserve-designated to return next Sunday.
