Darrelle Revis says he's 'speechless'

This isn't good.

New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis is not happy about reportedly being put on the trading block. Both general manager John Idzik and owner Woody Johnson had a chance to deny multiple reports Thursday morning, but the pair dodged the topic.

"I think it's way premature to say anything specific," Idzik said.

That was enough evidence for Revis, who voiced his frustrations via Twitter a few hours after the news conference.

"I'm speechless by far but more importantly I feel more upset for the jet nation for having to go through this!!!" Revis tweeted.

Revis also added: "I guess we’ll see how this plays out."

Revis is floored that the Jets are open to trading him, but he shouldn't be. Revis knows he will seek a mega-contract extension in 2014 when he becomes an unrestricted free agent. If the Jets do not think they can pay Revis, it's best to get something for him now rather than lose Revis next year and not get anything.

But the Jets have now made their best player upset, and that's never a good thing. Idzik just had his introductory news conference and has a big mess to clean up in New York. Idzik now can add an upset and frustrated Revis to the list of issues.
