New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady started in the team's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday night, two days after he left practice with a left knee injury, reports Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston.
In his first-quarter notes, ESPN Boston's Field Yates writes that in his one quarter of action, Brady was "locked in."
"Brady guided his offense 80 yards on a 15-play drive, connecting with Danny Amendola for a beautiful score. The drive was capped with a 2-point conversion on a throw from Brady to tight end Zach Sudfeld. A simply surgical opening drive from the 36-year old," Yates writes.
