It's not the regular season without a few injuries. While Week 1 is typically more tame compared to the rest of the season, it's still football which means there are still injuries to be had.
Cardinals tight end Rob Housler missed his second straight practice Thursday while recovering from a sprained right ankle. That diminished his chances of playing Sunday at St. Louis significantly, but as Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday, he'd rather hold out Housler than risk a lingering injury.
There were only a few changes to Thursday's injury report. Running back Andre Ellington (hamstring) and WR Andre Roberts (quad) were added and listed as limited. Long snapper Mike Leach (hamstring) practiced fully.
We'll know more Friday about whether Housler will play or not, and how he impacts the Cardinals' game plan.
