Byrd (foot) doubtful for Sunday's game

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Doug Marrone said Friday.

Byrd has plantar fasciitis, a foot condition, which caused him to miss last week's season opener.

Meanwhile, the Bills have five players listed as "out" for the game: cornerbacks Stephon Gilmore (fractured wrist) and Ron Brooks (fractured foot), wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (fractured hand), and kicker Dustin Hopkins (right groin).

Marrone previously said the team hoped to have Hopkins kicking again by the end of this week. On Friday, he said the latest plan is to have him practice kicking Sunday morning or Monday.
