Steve Johnson among Bills back at practice

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Wide receiver Steve Johnson was among several Buffalo Bills who returned to practice Wednesday.

Johnson, who sat out Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury, took part in individual drills on Thursday. Two other starters -- defensive lineman Kyle Williams and guard Kraig Urbik -- were also back on the field.

Defensive end Mario Williams took part in individual drills Thursday after working with trainers for that portion of practice Wednesday. He sprained his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Jets, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, who took part in individual drills Wednesday and was listed as limited in practice, left the practice field after stretching to work with trainers.

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin and safety Jairus Byrd were part of the scout team during the secondary's walk-through, working against a unit that continued to feature Aaron Williams at cornerback.
