Bills granted blackout extension

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The NFL granted the Buffalo Bills a 24-hour exemption to avoid a blackout of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced Thursday.

The Bills will now have until 1 p.m. ET on Friday to sell 5,300 tickets, which would meet the NFL's requirements to keep the game on local television.

Buffalo has also yet to sell out its three remaining home games after Sunday.
