Locker Room Buzz: San Francisco 49ers

LONDON -- Observed in the locker room after the San Francisco 49ers' 42-10 win over Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium:

Staying focused: San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh raved about his team’s focus all week and on Sunday. The 49ers had to travel a long way and spent more than week on the road. Still, they did not let down against the winless Jaguars and won their fifth straight game. “A-plus, plus,” Harbaugh said of the London experience.

Paranoia doesn’t destroy 49ers: Safety Donte Whitner said the 49ers’ coaching staff is "the most paranoid" in the league. He said the coaches meticulously go over every scenario to keep this team sharp.

The Big Sleeper: On the first drive of the game, the 49ers ran a designed play where fullback Bruce Miller appeared to run off the field, but he stopped just by the 49ers’ sideline. It totally caught the Jaguars off guard. It turned into a 43-yard reception. Miller’s thoughts before the play: “Don’t jump offsides. Don’t drop the ball.” It was the first time the 49ers used it this season. Harbaugh said the name of the play is “The Big Sleeper.”
