Rapid Reaction: Falcons 22, Bears 20

ATLANTA -- You kidding me?

I was almost finished rapidly reacting to what appeared to be a rousing Chicago Bears victory, the kind that makes a good season special.

I had praised Kyle Orton and Rashied Davis for their sharp 17-yard touchdown connection, which had given the Bears a 20-19 lead with 11 seconds left.

And somehow, the Bears walked off the field 22-20 losers. A squib kick, a 26-yard pass from Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan to Michael Jenkins, and a 48-yard field goal from Jason Elam resulted in one of the most dramatic final 11 seconds of a game that I've ever seen.

Now, suddenly, the Bears find themselves in a tie with Minnesota in the NFC North. Both teams are 3-3 and will meet Sunday at Soldier Field. We'll see if the Bears can get over this one.
