NHL preseason schedule

Get ready for four teams to travel overseas, a game in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, and the return of the NHL to Winnipeg when the league's preseason schedule kicks off on Sept. 19.

The Anaheim Ducks, Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers will play seven preseason games in Europe, with the Rangers scheduled for four games in four countries in five days.

Winnipeg will get its first look at the home team on Sept. 20 when it plays home-and-home, split-squad games against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

On Sept. 26, the Ottawa Senators and Winnipeg Jets will face off in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, because the community won a Canada-wide competition. Because of ticket demand, the game was moved to St. John's Mile One Centre.
