Four stars of the night ...

... Because three just wasn't enough.

Ilya Bryzgalov -- The Coyotes star netminder blocked the Red Wings with 43 saves in Detroit. Phoenix raced out to a 3-0 lead and then let Bryzgalov handle the rest. While his teammate praised his performance, Bryzgalov said he didn't "need that many shots."

Taylor Hall -- The No. 1 draft pick made everyone wait seven games, but he got his first NHL goal. Hall tied the game in the third period, but the Oilers lost in the shutout to spoil the rookie's celebration. "Definitely not the prettiest goal of my life, but I'll take it for sure," Hall said after the game.

Chris Stewart -- Off to a rapid pace, Steward notched his second NHL hat trick to bring his season total to eight goals in 10 games. The Avs will need him to continue this hot streak with Craig Anderson out of the lineup with a knee injury.

Tim Thomas -- With 20 saves, Thomas earned his second shutout and improved to 5-0 with a 0.60 goals-against average. At this pace, it is hard to give Tuukka Rask a turn in the net.
