U.S. sets final roster for World Juniors

Team USA cut seven players from its preliminary roster to finalize the lineup for the 2011 U.S. national junior team.

Forwards Brandon Saad, Connor Brickley, Rocco Grimaldi and Matt Nieto, and defensemen Adam Clendening, Jamie Oleksiak and Philip Samuelsson did not make the final cut.

The IIHF World Junior Championship runs from Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Buffalo and Niagara, N.Y.
