The Vancouver Canucks have a surplus in goal. They’ve decided to keep veteran Ryan Miller and listen to offers for both Jacob Markstrom and Eddie Lack. They’ll deal just one of them but will listen on each guy to see what the best offer is.
The Canucks don’t have a second- or third-round pick in the upcoming draft so they’ll like to at least recoup an asset in that area, obviously preferably a second. Which also suggests that, in a perfect world, they would like the deal to get done before the draft.
